What do we do?
As I saw the front page of the newspaper today, I was saddened to see another act of evil. The deadly shooting at Trolley Square is yet another illustration that we live in an unsafe world.
So, what do we do?
We hold our families closer. We remember what is important in life. We thank God everyday for the blessings we have. We keep His commandments.
Living the gospel to the best of our abilities must be ever present in our minds. We are not necessarily kept immune to the dangers present in this life. If a trudged is to befall you, it is important to keep an eternal perspective. None of us is perfect by any means. Doing everything in our power to strive toward that ideal is what will keep us safe in an eternal sense.
Keep doing what is right. Should something happen to end your physical existence, your place in the eternities is safe.
Remember always the Lord's commandment "Love One Another".
